"A man undergoing experimental treatment for a serious health condition finds himself compelled to travel to the Middle East to reclaim a motorcycle he once left behind. With no time to lose and challenges mounting, he makes the motorcycle road-ready and prepares to cross the desert standing between him and his goal. Along the way, he visits friends and seeks to honor a promise made years earlier to refugee children. This extraordinary journey reveals how small acts of kindness from strangers, when added together, can span distances never imagined."

AN AUTO-BIOGRAPHY

For years, the refrain from colleagues on film sets was the same: "You need to record your life." My journey wasn't spent in studios, but in a tent across Europe and on the back of a motorcycle. I became the first foreigner to enter Iraq on a private vehicle in over four decades — crossing the border on my bike — and later founded a school for refugee children in Lebanon. These weren't "projects." They were a way of existing.

Everything changed with a brain tumor diagnosis. Faced with my own mortality, I stopped waiting for the perfect production window and started recording. What began as informal interviews with friends, conducted with nothing but a camera and no expectations, evolved into an intimate, feature-length documentary. This film is the synthesis of a decade of nomadic adventure and a sudden, urgent need to document the human connection. It is the story of a man who traveled the world to find home, only to realize that the journey — and the people met along the way — was the destination all along.

W O R L D P R E M I E R

"My Name Doesn't Matter" was shot in Brazil, Europe, and across the Middle East — the region where the story truly belongs. So for the World Premiere I chose to embark on a motorcycle expedition riding East to West across the heart of the Middle East, letting the film return home the way it was lived: on two wheels. The Islamic Republic of Iran was the obvious choice for the premiere — it is, after all, where my upcoming expedition begins.

To ensure the narrative remains accessible to those who inspired it, the documentary will be released entirely free on online platforms across the Middle East. Along the way, I'll be seeking interviews with news outlets in each country to discuss this cross-continental cinematic mission, the philosophy of independent production, and the bridge between the West and the misunderstood Middle East. This tour isn't just a release. It is a tribute to the people and places that made the film possible.

A SUCCESSFUL STORY

My path as a director and producer didn't start at the top, but on the floor — rigging lights, laying cables, assembling equipment, and quietly studying the masters of world-class sets working above me. For years, that was the job. No shortcuts, no film school. The foundation of my career was built producing campaigns for global giants: JEEP, HILTON HOTELS, O BOTICÁRIO, GWM, among many more — including international events, and technical consulting in Brazil and the Middle East.

Additionally, I contributed to the success of THE YOUTH, one of the TOP 3 Production Companies in the world (Cannes Lions, 2024). And my current project is directing and producing the daily Ramadan 2026 live broadcast for the respected MOSQUE OF CURITIBA, in Brazil.

The accumulated years of technical work, self-study, and close observation translated into consulting roles and ultimately into directing and producing projects under my own name. Not because I was handed the opportunity, but because after years of building the infrastructure of other people's narratives, a brain tumor diagnosis made the urgency impossible to ignore. I had quietly learned everything I needed — and suddenly had every reason not to wait.
